One of New England’s great fall traditions is Women’s Week in Provincetown, MA, which every October brings to a little beach town at the tip of Cape Cod the biggest and best in lesbian culture.
If you haven’t been down to P-town for Women’s Week in a few years, or (gasp!) haven’t ever made it to this event, drop everything, because this is the year to go. Not only is it the 30th anniversary but we will be there this year giving away free stuff!
Women’s Week is a celebration with something for every woman: the latest and greatest in female-centered filmmaking and off-Broadway productions, author readings, and loads of concerts and comedy by established as well as up-and-coming performers. You can catch a workshop or a clambake by day, bonfires and clubbing by night, and even comedian Kate Clinton leading a touch football game in Provincetown’s Bas Relief Park.
Want to qualify to win a free paperback or an Ylva baseball cap at this week-long event? It’s easy. All you have to do is be in P-town during Women’s Week and be a random passer-by on the street.
That’s it. We swear.
During the entirety of Women’s Week, Ylva will be roaming the streets of Provincetown giving away free swag, so keep an eye out! Come say hello and take home a giveaway prize of your choice! What could be easier?
