Steph Gottschalk earned a B.A. in German and Linguistics from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, but currently lives and writes in Minnesota. Besides writing, Steph enjoys reading, crocheting, and becoming proficient at various types of weaponry. As a teenager, Steph once helped a friend try to contact a ghost via a Ouija board; the result was rather anticlimactic, but the experience came in handy as part of the inspiration for “Object Permanence.”
