Can you fall for someone even if the other person belongs to something you truly don‘t agree with? With lots of charming, adorable kids, grandmas and good friends and of course being attracted to each other, this happens for Sara and Alice. It was an easy read, not filled with technical terms, so if you‘re looking for a book with romance and happy end, I can really recommend this one.

Celebrity romance is one of my favorite tropes, and the royal twist adds another dimension with all the protocols to follow. This is a fairly long book, so there’s a lot of time to fully develop the story, both before and after Princess Alice and Sara get together. It starts as a fake relationship, then morphs into a slowish burn that is very satisfying. Lola Keeley writes the dialogue exactly right for these two characters as well as their families (as I expected she would).
Since Music and the Mirror blew me away as a debut, I’ve never missed a Lola Keeley book. Her Royal Happiness is truly a worthy follow-up.

Just finished the book last night and Holy kittens! It’s lighthearted, gay af and has a happy end (spoiler alert?)! I don’t read that much anymore but I ended up glued to the screen for hours when I picked up this title. If you’re looking for an easy fun read this is the book for you then!

I really enjoyed Her Royal Happiness by Lola Keeley. It was a great romance story that was interesting, well developed and which encompasses different perspectives as well as everyday challenges . The romance between Alice and Sara is a slow burn but draws you in and makes you want to find out what happens the more pages you read. I received an arc in exchange for an honest review and I’ll be re-reading again soon.
